Financial Inclusion
Financial Inclusion is about issues such as
debt and exclusion from mainstream and affordable financial
services such as bank accounts and credit. We have identified this
as a priority within the Community Strategy and have established a
Financial Inclusion Forum.
The Financial Inclusion Forum
This forum brings together partners including
social landlords, voluntary sector organisations such as the
Citizen’s Advice Bureau and other organisations such as the
Benefits Service, Pensions Service and the Credit Union.
The Forum works together to
try and promote financial inclusion across the Borough. There are
also two specific groups that focus on issues in Eastfield and
Barrowcliff.
The Forum is open to
anyone who works directly or indirectly with people who may
experience financial exclusion.
