About the North Yorkshire Coast Community Partnership
The North
Yorkshire Coast Community Partnership is the Local Strategic
Partnership (LSP) for the Borough of Scarborough.
We bring together the private, public, community and voluntary
sectors with the aim of working together to improve the quality of
life in the
borough.
In practice the Community Partnership Board:
- Develops the overall vision for the Borough, through the
development of a Community Strategy and co-ordinates the
delivery of this strategy.
- Focuses on disadvantaged communities and ensures the needs of
both urban and rural communities are identified.
- Shares knowledge and intelligence between partners to reduce
duplication and improve public services.
- Lobbies to further the well being and prosperity of the
borough.
